Joel Carlson is currently the President of Red Skye Sales, LLC., which is a contract sales organization representing Piratecom, a manufacturer of wired and wireless crew communications systems for high noise environments.
Joel first met Dean Hedstrom when Joel was a sales representative for the Callaway Golf Corporation. Dean signed-up to become a Callaway PGA Staff Professional. During the time Dean represented the Callaway Golf brand, Joel and Dean continued their relationship, until Dean's passing.
Joel has been around the golf industry his entire life because his father was a PGA Golf Professional. In 1995, Joel's father lost his battle with Lymphatic cancer. Educating others about cancer, and fund raising to find a cure, have always been front and center in Joel's heart and mind.
Joel grew up in New Smyrna Beach, Florida and is a graduate of The University of North Florida with a BBA in Marketing. He is the father of two children, and has been married to Karen for eleven years. Joel is looking forward to doing more to bring funding and awareness to the battle against cancer.
