Patrick S. Walsh
Patrick Walsh is a retired life member of the PGA of America. He presently teaches at Imperial Lakewoods Golf Club; an 18-hole, semi-private golf club located in Palmetto, Florida. His students range in abilities from playing professionals to beginners; and he specializes in junior golfers, teaching some of the finest young players in the state. He is a past champion of the Southwest Chapter, North Florida Section. Has won multiple Professional and Pro-Am Championships throughout the country and was a nine time participant in the Pebble Beach Invitational. During his PGA career he was an active member on the chapter, section and national levels, twice receiving the Bill Strausbaugh Award for Employee Relations.
For many years Patrick was a member of Toastmasters International, reaching the rank of ATM-S. He graduated with honors from Eckerd College with a BA in Literature.
Besides playing, managing and teaching golf for the last 30 years, Patrick has also worked as a restaurant manager, team building consultant, and personal business owner. He has also written many articles on golf. To review some of his writings search: Patrick S Walsh, PGA Golf Professional.
Patrick is married with three children. His hobbies include coaching his children in the various sports they participate; enjoying time with his family, playing a little cards, reading and being an integral part of the Dean Hedstrom Foundation for Melanoma Awareness Board of Directors.
