Melanoma Warriors

There is nothing that can prepare someone or their loved ones for the diagnosis of "cancer". We are so fortunate to live in these technological times. To have access to the vast information, education and networking available through the internet.

During his journey, the love and inspiration Dean and his family received from other melanoma warriors and their caregivers by means of internet support groups was invaluable.

The DHFMA hopes to be one more of these resources. While we continue to lose a significant number of melanoma warriors everyday, there are many warriors who continue to win the battle. It is these warriors that we want to highlight through our foundation and on our website. Their stories of hope and inspiration gave Dean the strength to keep fighting. We will always remember and honor those who lost their battle for they are the reason this foundation exists. We will continue our fight against melanoma so their battles were not lost in vain.
