Adil I. Daud, M.D.
Adil I. Daud, M.D. is a clinical physician and medical researcher, certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Oncology and Hematology. Currently, Dr.Daud serves as an associate professor and director of Melanoma Clinical Research at the University of California, San Francisco. He is also a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network - Melanoma Panel Committee, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Associates for Cancer Research.
In recent years, he has served as medical director of Affiliate Research at Moffitt Clinical Research Network, associate professor of the Cutaneous Oncology, GI and Experimental Therapeutics Program and the Cutaneous Oncology and GI Comprehensive Program at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center (Tampa, FL) and clinical attending physician of Developmental Chemotherapy at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (New York, NY).
During his career, Dr. Daud has authored numerous medical journal articles and publications and has received several awards for his work, including the Best Doctors in America Award from Castle Connolly, as well as the Clinical Trial Award signifying the most investigator initiated trials and the highest number of patients enrolled in a clinical trial at Moffitt Cancer Center. In addition, Dr. Daud was the recipient the Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Dr. Daud graduated from Government Medical College in Nagpur, India, where he received his M.B.B.S. degree in 1986. He continued his medical training with a fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic (1987-1990), an internship and residency at Indiana University Medical Center (1994-1997) and a fellowship in Oncology/Hematology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY (1997-2000).
